Pakistan announces full-strength squads for home series against New Zealand
Pakistan have announced their full-strength T20I and ODI squads for the upcoming home series against New Zealand, set to take place from 14 April to 7 May. Babar Azam will lead the teams with Shadab Khan serving as the vice-captain.
Returning to the squads are Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shaheen Shah Afridi, who is set to make a comeback after missing five Tests and three ODIs against England and New Zealand. Three young guns – Ihsanullah, Saim Ayub, and Zaman Khan – have been retained in the T20I squad after their stellar performances in Sharjah, with Ihsanullah added to the ODI squad for the first time in his career.
The team will attend a training camp in Lahore from 7 April. The series will be played across Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Karachi. Online tickets for the Lahore matches are already available at www.pcb.bookme.pk.
