Umpiring Panel Announced for Pakistan vs New Zealand White Ball Series 2023

Ali Naqvi and Chris Broad, both former Test cricketers and respected match referees, have been appointed to lead the playing control teams for the T20 International and One-Day International series between Pakistan and New Zealand. The series will take place from April 14th to May 7th.

During the five T20Is, which will be spread across Lahore and Rawalpindi, Ali Naqvi will serve as the match referee. Ahsan Raza, Aleem Dar, Asif Yaqoob, Faisal Afridi, and Rashid Riaz will be responsible for on-field umpiring duties.

For the five ODIs, which will be played in Rawalpindi and Karachi, Chris Broad, a member of the ICC Elite Panel of Match Referees, will make his return to Pakistan after 14 years. Ahsan Raza, Aleem Dar, Asif Yaqoob, Faisal Afridi, Langton Rusere, Joel Wilson, and Rashid Riaz will be the on-field umpires.

While Ahsan Raza and Joel Wilson are members of the ICC Elite Panel of Umpires, the other umpires selected for the two series are members of the ICC International Panel of Umpires.
