Australia and Pakistan Announced Test Squads For Cricket Australia’s Tour to Pakistan Starting From 4 April 2022

Formerly, Pakistan Cricket Board and Cricket Australia announced the final details of Australia’s tour to Pakistan After 24 Years. Last time Kangaroos toured to Pakistan in 1998.

PCB issued details of Pakistan vs Australia cricket series last week. The Australian Cricket Team is scheduled to play 3 Test Matches, 3 ODIs and 1 T20I in Pakistan.

1st Test Match will be played at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from March 4, 2022. The test matches will be the part of ICC World Test Championship 2021-23.

While 3 ODIs will be the part of ICC Man’s World Cup Super League, where 13 teams will compete and only Top-7 will directly qualify for ICC Men’s World Cup 2023

Earlier Cricket Australia announced their test squad for tour to Pakistan. Australian Test Cricket Team will play under the lead of Pat Cummins and Steve Smith as deputy captain. After the resignation of Justin Langer, Andrew MacDonald will step in as interim head coach for Australia Tour To Pakistan 2022.

Team Australia is all set for it’s 1st overseas tour in three years after the successful Ashes series victory. The number one ranked Test side hasn’t played in an overseas series since visiting England in 2019.

Pakistan Cricket Board announced 16 member Test squad recently, where one of the most successful captains Babar Azam lead the Pakistan Test Squad in home.

Australia will complete isolation in their own country before flying to Islamabad on February 27. After a one-day room isolation, they will be allowed to hold training sessions at the Pindi Cricket Stadium.
